Interesting Antique Chinese Metal Wrapped Porcelain Bowl with Landscape and Poetry. This beautiful porcelain bowl, after the transitional period, has a clear and beautiful painted blue glaze over the white slip body. The rim is cased with a silver like metal wrap for some chips and an inside crack on the bowl as the intention was to preserve the bowl for its continuing use. One side of the bowl is painted with a water scape with a fisherman by the river under a big pine tree, while the other side is written with a beautiful poem depicting the beautiful mountain and fishing scape coming into dream. The bottom of the bowl is inscribed with "Wan-Yue", possibly a collector's name. Sold as is. Dimensions: 6 1/4" Diameter x 3" H
