Large Size Antique Celadon Glazed Water Jar with hand built thick clay body showing the wonderful texture as well as the beautiful oxidized stripes on jade like green. Very minor losses on aged glaze, but in excellent condition. Over 100 years old from the late Qing Dynasty period. Although this type of pot was reproduced in the 90's and 2000's, few compare to the beautiful natural variation of aged glaze of the old ones and its wonderful visual texture from being built by hand. Few real antique pieces can be found now. Another description: This Antique Large ceramic Water storage Jar with Oxidized Celadon Glaze has a beautiful bright apple green color like that of spring! It is hand built in a nice large round shape and generously applied with very thick Celadon glaze made from organic compound. The contrasted dark strokes from the oxidization from firing make the piece uniquely different from others. This beautiful one-of-a-kind water jar will grace any landscape or garden. Antique Qing Dynasty Handmade Glazed Yixing Teapot with Inside Clay Infuser. The teapot is made in the shape of four rounded petals, painted on one side with a playful Daoist's fan and a lotus flower, while the other side is painted with chrysanthemum flower branch, with background colors in apple green, light yellow, and grey blue on subtle cracked style glaze. Bottom is with a signature. The overall condition of the teapot is excellent with few minor chips. 19th century. Yixing teapot has been made for over one thousand years in China.The name came from the special clay found only in a small county/ town in Yixing, China. The Chinese tea connoisseurs believe that only this clay can brew the best-tasting teas. The craftsmen thrived on creating the most exquisite and seamless teapots for the tea lovers and teapot collectors for centuries. Interesting Antique Chinese Metal Wrapped Porcelain Bowl with Landscape and Poetry. This beautiful porcelain bowl, after the transitional period, has a clear and beautiful painted blue glaze over the white slip body. The rim is cased with a silver like metal wrap for some chips and an inside crack on the bowl as the intention was to preserve the bowl for its continuing use. One side of the bowl is painted with a water scape with a fisherman by the river under a big pine tree, while the other side is written with a beautiful poem depicting the beautiful mountain and fishing scape coming into dream. The bottom of the bowl is inscribed with "Wan-Yue", possibly a collector's name. Sold as is. Dimensions: 6 1/4" Diameter x 3" H

It also has the original thick hand-forged old brass plates and fitting. The inside leather which is constructed with a cylinder holder to hold the hat still is carved with a cutout design of a coin embedding Prosperity meaning.
