Antique Large Tall Round Red Lacquer Wooden Tub with Carved Lid. This wooden tub came frm the Ningbo/Shanghai area. It still retains the best vibrant orignal red color made from the organic mineral. The simple but beautiful carving with stylized floral design on the lid makes it most unusual among the same type as most of same tubs do not come with a carved lid. Mostly, it still is in a prime condition without furtherly being refinished. Thus, makes its red pigment so beautiful and stand out! Over 100 years old. Dimensions: Top is 17" in Diameter (12" Diameter bottom) with an 18" Height.

Antique Chinese Carved Bamboo Brush Holder with Landscape and Calligraphy. This holder is carved in a relieved style carving. One side of the holder is carved with detailed carving showing a vast mountainous landscape with tall mountains with pine trees, architectures, a bridge over water, and an elderly scholar walking on the bridge. On the other side, it is carved with a tall rock with a poem carved in nice calligraphy on it. Although it is an old piece, the bamboo had been stained to look darker. Some small weather cracks. 19th century or early 20th century. Dimensions: 3 3/4" Diameter x 10" H

Antique Chinese Jade Toggle Carved with Two Reclining Fu-Lions Playing with A Ball with one of them biting a knot tassle coming from the ball. The jade is a nephrite with a soft and smooth glow. The color of the jade is of a darker white with a slight greenish tint to it. On the top, there is a patch of brown color almost looking like an oxydised russet but is likely part of the mixed colors of the jade. Early 20th century to possibly 18th century. A toggle is a carved small ornament of a semi-precious stone, such as jade, or other material like wood, shell, bone, etc. with a carved hole on the piece to thread to clothing for wearing or for use as a weight to hang from the clothing or a pouch. Dimensions: 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1"

This vintage lamp made with a large antique Chinese polychrome vase sure to dress up a room with its pastel like colors in pink, yellow, white, light blue, green, and more. The vase is hand-painted in detail with two large "open windows" containing a phoenix bird on one side and a peacock on the other sides, with both birds perching on rocks near Peony trees with large full-bloomed peony flowers. This Qing Dynasty vase has no cracks or chips can be seen other than being made into a lamp. Sold as seen in the photo. Dimensions: Approximately 8" Diameter x 18" H (from the wooden stand to the top of the metal holder for light ball).

This peasant style antique bamboo bird cage has an elegant appeal for its uniqueness and an organic feel thanks to its shape and the unfinished natural patina on the old bamboo surface through time passage. The cage door, hand-carved on a curved broad band bamboo with a few tiny flowers steming from a larger branch, pulls towards the top to open the cage door. The cage is in a bulky oval shape slightly tapering down towards the bottom. The bottom of the cage is uniquely composed with strips of bent bamboo woven and laid out in a curved pattern like a boat rather than woven in straight lines, while the bamboo handle on the top is also uniquely carved in a bird head shape for one to carry the cage around to the park, outside, for meeting others for pastime. Chinese aesthetics, though much was prized for some of its scholarly taste or palace style craftsmanship, a simple piece like this also represents many of the unknown and skillful craftsmans whom likely learned and studied the trade with their whole life devotion. One sees their artistic concept and internal world through the object and the space they created. Dimensions are approximately: 13" Diameter x 19" H

Ming Dynasty Blue-and-White Petal Shape Plate with Painted Chilin. Created in a "Kuai-Hua" (Sun flower) shape, this Swato ware plate is built with many indented lines along the inside part of the plate. The plate has a very thick overall cream color glaze at the front and the back side of the plate with only a narrow band at the bottom of the foot unglazed above where thick dripping of the glaze occured. The foot of the plate is shaped with a slightly inward rim. The front side of the plate is painted with a playful Chilin with an open mouth and big eyes and a turning head, while its iconic large bushy tail is quite recognizable for this most auspicious Chinese mythical animal. Along the edges of the plate is a painted band consists of various cloud and Ruyi like motives and small characers inside "open widnows". Minor chips and losses of glaze att eh rim of the platebut overall in fairly good condition. Dimensions: 8: Diameter x 1 1/4" H

Small Size Qing Dynasty Lotus Bowl hand-painted in pink, white, and yellow color thick glaze with a beautiful turquoise color inside and underneath the bowl.The body of the bowl is thickly built with three bands of lotus flower petals evenly spaced around the bowl, with each band overlaping one another. Each petal is precisely painted with darker pink/Fushia lines on the lighter pink and white ground. The top and the bottom of the bowl are painted with yellow trims with pink dots, resembling a lotus stem, with the yellow bottom band opening and curving into the back side of the bowl as part of the long and curved lotus flower stem. The turqoise color glaze inside the bowl might have been worn shwoing some white spots, with one small area on the top of the rim might have been a defect or repaired. Dimensions: 4" Diameter x 2" H
