This Well Constructed Antique Northern Chinese Painted Square-Cornered Two-Door Cabinet is hand-painted with various floral and Buddhist-Hand fruit design on a beautiful dark sienna red background. The fitting has been replaced. The recessed side walls of the cabinet is further enhanced with supporting crossed bars for durability. This cabinet from the greater Shanxi area is generously built with solid northern elm and is in excellent condition. It makes a nice presentation for a space that needs a little color enhancement. This Rare Antique Ming Style Tapered Cabinet with Two-Doors and Bottom Drawers is constructed with a tasteful design with rounded legs and corners. It is made of Yu wood, northern Chinese elm, and has a replaced circular brass plates at the front. Inside the cabinet, there is a set of two drawers with a board on top as a shelf. Cabinet like this one is versatile with its elegant design and good storage that well suits many spaces. There are traces of dark lacquer can still be seen on various spots on the cabinet. This small apothecary chest with an unusual size and design has beautiful original black lacquer although the top had been stripped blond. Each drawer has divided compartments inside. Some were chewed by the mouse from storing the herbs. The surface of all the drawers was fitted with an original old Chinese coin as pull plate and an original old drawer pull. The writings of the herbal names are original writings. The edges of the top display area is carved with auspicious pomegranate design on all sides. This very heavy and unusual apoethecary chest makes a nice table top storage unit, whether for herbs or for storing other personal objects! 19th century. Dimensiosn: 20 5/8" L x 17 7/8" W x 25 3/4" H

Large Size Old Silk Thangka Painting with a White Tara figure with many small Buddhas, painted in organic color pigments made of minerals and vegetation. The outside brocade that frames the painting has deteriorated. White Tara in Tibetan Buddhism represents longevity and healing in practice. In the picture, the figure in the center sits on a lotus throne with crossed feet. Her right arm resting on the knee, with fingers pointing downward, while her left arm holding a flower stem. Her face is gently painted with two eyes only (most Tara forms bear seven eyes). This large size Thangka might have been used or hung at a temple or a monastery for the worship purpose. Its lovely colors and rendition of the main figure resembling the style of some works painted in the 18th century. Exact age unknown. Over 100 years. As is condition. Vintage lamp made with Old Cloisonne Vase. The cloisonne vase which is in good condition has a nice shape and good patina on the copper rim and is likely from the earlier part of the 20th century. However, the bottom carved wood stand is broken on the edges but stand well. Sold as is with a like blush lamp shade that matches the color of the luscious peony flowers. The lamp works fine. Dimensions: 8 1/4" Diameter x 15 1/4" H (from base to vase top), 26" H to the top of the shade.

This pair of Slightly larger Antique Imari Teacups with a Gilt Design is hand-painted with an intense blue with some orange red and gilt colors. These lovely cups with scalloped edges are painted with a large crane hovering over waves and pine tree inside an open-window. One cup has a chip at the bottom rim of the cup.
