Description
Antique Chinese Wooden Wine Storage Barrel with Bamboo Bands. This wine storage barrel is beautifully refinished in lighter wood color with soft lacquer layer on the surface. Like many other old Chinese wooden buckets and barrels, it is hand-carved in curved wooden sections and joined together with wooden pegs in between before applying the woven bamboo bands outside to further secure it. Over 100 years old.
This piece makes a nice storage display with its beautiful shape and nice finish.
