This Antique Chinese Round and Tall Stacking Bamboo Woven Basket with Four Tiers has an appealing and even patina over its well woven surface and is in excellent condition. Its elegant design is in a slightly slender and elevated shape that makes it stand out a bit from most other Chinese stacking bamboo baskets with similar shape. Its "Key" design woven pattern is consistent over all parts of the basket. Such basket, seem plain, yet is elegant, has a special charm with all the right elements. The handles made of broad bamboo are also well carved with figures. Early 20th century.
