Description
This pair of rare and unusual 17-18th century antique Chinese screens has beautiful carvings and are fitted with locking bars at the bottom which secured and locked the windows into the window frames of the building.

The blue color decorations on the windows are Peking Glass which is rarely seen on architectural element. The mine where the material of the Peking Glass came from had long been shut down by the Chinese government in Mainland China. The reddish color used on the windows is also made of organic ground mineral.

The centers for the latticework are missing. This pair of beautiful frames can be made into wall hanging mirrors, or that they are just beautiful as art objects.
