Large Size Antique Celadon Glazed Water Jar with hand built thick clay body showing the wonderful texture as well as the beautiful oxidized stripes on jade like green. Very minor losses on aged glaze, but in excellent condition. Over 100 years old from the late Qing Dynasty period. Although this type of pot was reproduced in the 90's and 2000's, few compare to the beautiful natural variation of aged glaze of the old ones and its wonderful visual texture from being built by hand. Few real antique pieces can be found now.
