Large Narrow Size Silver-Plated Box with Antique Polychrome Porcelain, Peony.
These beautiful handmade shard boxes are made of broken antique shards from the broken antique Chinese porcelain vases or jars. Each is different from others, no two pieces are exactly the same unless they are from a pair or a set of antique porcelain. All the inlaid porcelain tops are over 100 years old. The boxes were made in the 80's and 90's with silver-plated copper. They make great gifts and collectibles!
