Jun-Yao glaze ranks one of the five most important and known kiln glaze from ancient China, famous for its Song ware. Artisans since then have tried to re-made this glaze with much failing as it is one of the hardest glazes to achieve for its luxurious and ever changing purple glaze with red and sky blue infusions.
