Description
Antique Scholar's Stationery Box Made of Exotic Chinese Mahogany grade of Hardwood with an elegant begonia shaped old brass plates. This quality box is constructed with all rounded corners and edges with the bottom also made of the same hardwood. Such box was used for a sholar's desktop to hold stationery or personal items. It is also often used to keep important paper work like invitations. Late 19th to early 20th century. In good condition.
