Description
This beautiful Framed Antique silk Embroidery Fragment is stitched with many auspicious motives including carp, pomegranate, peach, and others. Carp is a symbol of "plentiful", as well as a career wish for a young man to advance in court. This embroidery work might have been a cut-off from a large robe. It is in excellent condition though looks faded that might have been due to its age. 19th century or earlier.
