Extra Large Size Antique Lacquered Woven Storage Book Storage Trunk with Base. Woven finely with thinly hand-split bamboo mesh. Excellent hand-forged original brass fittings with natural patina. This beautiful and impressive trunk is substantially made with the traditional thick lacquering technique. It is in good condition other than a few minor chips on the lacquer and bamboo. 150-250 years old.
