Description
Medium to Large Size Antique Apothecary Chest with Many Drawers in Dark Lacquer. This apothecary chest is solidly made with old drawers. It is built with a traditional style with rounded posts showing recessed flat-surfaced drawer faces with metal pull for each drawer. Such chest or cabinet was used to store Chinese herbs and is very handy to use in the modern home for organizing little objects. It is a very popular type of furniture. This northern Chinese piece is well built and very heavy! Estimated to be 19th century.
