Description
Beautiful Antique Carved White Jade Plaque Strung with Transparent Jade Beads. The round plaque is carved on both sides with a Shou (Longevity) design in the center, hovered by two large bats on the top and the bottom of the character with lotus flowers on the other two sides. Bats are symbol of good luck and longevity. the beads are old. The carved plaque is from the 19th century.
This is an old necklace. It is recommended to re-string the necklace for more durable wearing.
Dimensions: 28" in length plus the pendant. The pendant is roughly 2 1/4" in diameter.
