Description
This unusual antique Chinese wooden sweet meat stacking carrying basket in black lacquer is cleverly designed. Unlike other sweet meat boxes which usually contain all the compartments inside a solid full box, this one uses two side spandrels that traditionally were ahered to the sides of a carrying handle for a stand to hold all the stacking compartments in place. These compartments fit perfectly tight and none will fall off easily when taking the top ones off the lower ones, making it easy and handy to use.
