This rare size larger antique Chinese Qingg Dynasty handmade silver wedding plaque in a Ru-Yi shape (to your wish) is carved with four characters in the middle with a special wedding wish for the newly wed couple to be in a good relationship. The characters read from the right to the left: "Dragon and Phoenix Presenting Auspicious Harmony". The two small characters on the top at the two corners are "Longevity". Such plaque was worn with silver chain on the chest and at the front of the bride's wedding gown, among other ornaments. The plaque is also carved with a stylized dragon and a phoenix on the right and the left with a bat above and a stem of peony flower at the bottom, giving the couple all the best wishes possible.
