Contemporary Clothing Storage Chest Designed by April Shen with thick hand-carved bamboo style frame and rattan top. These cabinets are solid and only constructed with the Chinese traditional joinery without nails. We just discovered a few of these cabinets buried away in storage! Made of He-Mu (lotus wood) during the 90's or early 2000's. He-Mu is a dense wood usually only used to make small toys because the many knots contained in the wood made it difficult to form a larger object.
