Description
Antique Red Lacquered Wedding Wood Bucket with Lid from the late Qing period with stunning, original red color pigment made from the precious ground mineral compound. The top was painted with beautiful gilt color which has been faded but still can be seen. With excellent thick old brass fitting, this bucket was used by a bride to store her daily usable items. Lid opens only half way. Light matte lacquer finish. In excellent condition. Late 19-early 20th century.
