This pair well made Chinese hardwood side chairs are constructed in a tasteful classical design with just the right proportions and elegant style. The rattan "hard" seat is finely woven, attached to a wooden board. Its characteristic headrest with shaped rail and two ends sticking out is termed "Lamp-Hanger" style. The wood is dense with pleasant fine grains that is likely a better variety of Huali hardwood.
