Description
Large Pair of Impressive and Elaborately Carved Antique Chinese Architectural Carvings with fabulous quails or birds and vegetation. These carvings are wonderfully carved with many layers intertwined, with birds showing and hiding in between the deep branches of the pine and Peony-like flowering branches. The birds are carved with plump and sumptuous looking body, showing a time of joy and plenti-ness, and possibly peace. Slightly coated with lacquer.
