Description

Antique Chinese Silver Enameled Nail Cover, possibly from the late Qing Dynasty. One side is made with a frog and cascading auspicious motives. The other side has intricate openwork with blossoms on a long wavy branch. A nail cover was used to cover a long nail from breaking easily and was a symbol of status way back then.
