This Well Constructed Antique Northern Chinese Painted Square-Cornered Two-Door Cabinet is hand-painted with various floral and Buddhist-Hand fruit design on a beautiful dark sienna red background. The fitting has been replaced. The recessed side walls of the cabinet is further enhanced with supporting crossed bars for durability. This cabinet from the greater Shanxi area is generously built with solid northern elm and is in excellent condition. It makes a nice presentation for a space that needs a little color enhancement. Late 19-early 20th century.
