Unusual Antique Large Size Japanese Woven Storage Trunk with Large Old Metal Fitting. This trunk is light weight for easy carrying. The inside still retains its attractive original light powder blue color pigment. With a quiet beauty, this woven trunk can add a wonderful and sophisticated presence to any room. Possibly Meiji to Edo period. Recently repaired on the top where the two lifting doors connected and the doors now open and close well.
