Antique Smaller Size Huali Hardwood Lounge Style Armchair with Bamboo Slats. Some repair.

This beautifully made lounge style chair is incredibly comfortable. And because of its slightly smaller size, compared to other similar style lounge chair with bamboo slots, this lounge chair might have been made for a lady. The curved seat, which is also made of broad band bamboo, is scientifically made to hold the human body and weight in the most luxury way, providing relaxation and comfort.

Such chair came from the Ningbo area in china where summer is humid and bamboo provides cooling effect on the skin. Please note its beautiful shape and the beautiful old patina only seen on old bamboo pieces. 19th to early 20th century.
