Rare Hand-Carved Old Coconut Shell Teapot with Metal Inside. Possibly a Chinese export piece for Southeast Asian market. The body and the lid of the teapot is hand-carved with a whole coconut shell with ribboned temple objects and some calligraphy. Coconut shell is very hard and hard to carve. Estimated to be from the first half of the 20th century.
