ART-092 （清代雕三螭虎戲球碧璽佩飾）This very rare and lovely Qing Dynasty antique Chinese toggle is carved out one piece of a clear pink tourmaline stone （碧璽）with one very large stylized lizard-like tiger （螭虎）and two much smaller ones, chasing after a large ball, in elaborate fine detail. The large tiger crawls across the side of the ball, showing its whole back and spine in carved ripped design with great detail. A smaller tiger sneaks its head out from underneath the ball. Another small tiger hovers over the other side of the ball across from the big tiger. All carved in vivid expression with great playfulness. Antique Chinese objects made of tourmaline are quite rare, especially one, such as this one, with such fine workmanship. It is a material that was said to have been the most favorite of Ci xi （慈禧）Empress's.
