This very rare and interesting ancient Chinese stone statue shows a non Chinese figure possibly from a foreign country or from a tribe. The figure has pierced ears, and wears big loop earrings, bracelets, and necklace. Each hand appears to be holding an object. The top of the body is naked, draped over by ribbons. The figure wears a short skirt and, although broken on one knee, looks to be in a kneeing position. The sides of the figure are carved with more ribbons and cloud like motif. This piece possibly has come from the south-western China.
