Description
This Old Chinese Red Lacquer Oval Shape Carrying Style Two-Sided Drum was used by stringing a long rope on the loops on the two ends and wearing it when a drummer performing the drumming task or practice. it has the original organic color red pigment made from mineral. Such drums are still being made and used. this one is in really good shape with all the red lacquer still intact as well. Early-mid 20th century.
