Extra-Large Size Antique Chinese Blue-and-White Jar, Ruyi and Twined Floral Pattern. This larger-than-usual beautifully shaped antique porcelain jar with a plump body from the late 1700's to early 1800's is painted with saturated brush strokes and has a nice shine on its glaze. it is in fairly good condition except for a very minor old chip on the rim that can barely be seen. this type of jar, similar to what is called "ginger jar", might have been used for storage of food. While created for the utilitarian purpose, this jar is perfectly shaped and potted. It has survived a long period of time being handled.
