This Old Oval Shape Tea Ware Storage Box Repainted in Yellow Lacquer came from the Ningbo area. The local people used it for storing tea wares or other personal items. Its two side handles and light weight wood make it easy to carry around. this box is made of sectional wood planks cut from wood trunk and joined together with wood pegs, then, wrapped with several twisted bamboo bands. The old metal latch is still intact. This box opens from the top with a half-shaped lifting style door. Its bright yellow color sure to brighten a winter day! In good condition.
