Antique Chinese Carved Bamboo Brush Holder with Landscape and Calligraphy. This holder is carved in a relieved style carving. One side of the holder is carved with detailed carving showing a vast mountainous landscape with tall mountains with pine trees, architectures, a bridge over water, and an elderly scholar walking on the bridge. On the other side, it is carved with a tall rock with a poem carved in nice calligraphy on it. Although it is an old piece, the bamboo had been stained to look darker. Some small weather cracks. 19th century or early 20th century.
