Antique Bamboo Woven Basket with A Dome Shaped Lid and High Handles. This beautifully shaped bamboo basket is tightly woven with fine bamboo threads or mesh with various delicate patterns. It might have been used for food or to present objects during a festive occasion. It has a higher base that is carved and painted in beautiful old red lacquer. This graceful basket is missing a piece from the rim under the lid, but the lid closes well. It has a beautiful old patina only found on old bamboo objects. Over 100 years old. As is.
